Assignment 1 : Event Poster, Assignment 2A : Microsite
As you can see, previous to the past week, this was the version that got feedback from Mr. Mike. After taking his feedback about a few elements in the poster, then i went on to work on it, and these are the versions that i came up with, after that consultation.
Feedback
Pay attention to the texture of the blood, make it look a bit more natural, and seems like coming out of the body instead of it just sticking on to the body itself. Also if you look back at the references, to see that how they portray the sky, how its darker, less cloudy and also some of them have lightnings.

this is what i came up with after his feedback about the sky and blood, also i added a bit more shadowing below her feet. I decrease the clouds behind it, making them a bit more less vibrant, also creating the lightning right in front of the clouds, also erasing a bit more of blood from the bottom part of the dress.
Right after that, Mr Mike ask to add the title and put the descriptions in, to see how it looks like with the typo and have a feel of the typo position around it.
This is what i tried at first, the title and also the production credit names, but after consulting and rethinking, it just doesn't seem right and then i tried to change the title and replacing it to see another possible position for the title.
Mr Mike told me to have a look again on the title, and let it be able to stand out more, and not in so much contrast with the background so that it is easier for the viewer to see.
This is the final look, of the poster and the typo works on the top, with the names of the actors as well as and added shadow behind it, with the edition of the production details below it.
Microsite Project
I teamed up with Agustin, Jacky, Jason and Kahyee for this project. This week is deciding which theme to choose for the second project based from one of our posters' theme and so we decided to use Jacky's game poster, Overgrowth, as our theme.

Genre: Open world, Action, fantasy
Synopsis: Hero exists in a polluted/dystopian world and wishes to restore the world to a lush untouched state. Hero is a personification of the forces of nature. The world he exists in is one that has been taken over by industrial sites, factories and is almost barren. The player will be given skills that will allow them to choose their own play-style and they will be taking down polluted sites and doing quests.
Mr. Mike was to be okay with it, and said we are good to go.
