Exercises

Brief
In the exercises that we have, we were separated into groups and was assign to make a couple of exercises, these exercises consist of Legos, Board Games, and Pokemon.

1. Lego Exercise
For the first exercise, which is legos, we were assigned into different groups and tasked to make an informative poster and video, about how many legos there were, and to categorise them into different categories, based on colour, shape, etc.

Progress

First, all of us counted the amount of legos that was given to us, and differentiate them based on each groups categories.

For this project, i was teamed up with Bor, Kelly and Carmen, to develop 1 infographic poster, and 1 infographic video, we choose to have different concepts, to showcase the versatility of the legos.

References
Because we were a group, me and carmen handled the poster, as where kelly and bor handled the video, so these are the poster references.

Outcome

Then we decided on making the legos into character forms, to showcase how many legos that is used on each legos and to have a series on it, so as you can see below, each character has a different treatment to it, with the amounts of legos used on each side.

And also our video, we decided to have a fireworks stop motion video to showcase the shapes of legos, and each of them have a short description on how many legos are there. Link below

2. Board Games Exercise
For this exercise, we were split into groups again, but then were tasked to come out with the game instructions together, but doing our own individual posters. In this exercise, i was teamed up with Jacky, Agustin and Hesti, and this is the instructions that we came up with.

Progress
After developing the how to's of the game, which in this case we got scrabble, then i went on to develop the informative poster, with the instructions of the game, a the tips of the game.

i wanted to make it long and vertical, which gives it a sense of hierarchy for the steps, so it would seem like there is a narrative, from beginning to the end of the poster

Outcome
So from this outcome, you can see that its very simple, yet i tried to put the instructions into a narrative form, so you know where to read first and where to finish, also with some tips below.

3. Pokemon Exercise
This is our final exercise, where we are individually tasked to making a pokemon infographic poster and video, based on the latch theory, where we can choose how we want to categorise pokemons, based on that theory.

Progress
i wanted the poster to look more like a cycle, where each part of it has a different colour and pokemon group to it, with different colour schemes and sign, to show the different pokemon categories

Outcome
As you can see here, how it cycles based on the pokemon's speciality, and alphabetically, and hierarchy(based on the evolution), using the colours and the arrow navigations, also the placement of the text to make this poster
